In Memory of Steve McInerney

Among many of Jack’s achievements (author of The Deaf Heritage: A Narrative History of Deaf America) and honors, Jack was a great ally of Youth Leadership Camp and attended as a guest speaker during the formative years of YLC. He was the Chair of Youth Leadership Camp Board of Directors from 1981 to 1988.

Roger Claussen, camp director during those years, remembered Jack as an easy-going person who was very supportive of the YLC program.

In 2018, YLCAF honored jack Gannon, along with his wife, Rosalyn, for their “steadfast service and dedication to our deaf youth.”
